Bringing innovators together for a more sustainable future.

We proudly participated in our first Circular Textile Days, a leading event that brought together innovators committed to transforming the textile industry towards a more sustainable future.

At this year’s event, RE&UP presented its cutting-edge recycling technology, showcasing how post-consumer textile waste can be converted into high-quality fibers on an industrial scale. The company’s team delved into RE&UP’s journey in scaling textile-to-textile recycling processes. Attendees gained valuable insights into the pioneering advancements driving the transition towards a circular fashion economy, further cementing RE&UP’s role as a leader in sustainability.

Andreas Dorner, General Manager of RE&UP, emphasized the urgency of the shift toward circularity, stating, “The route from linear to circular is here. We just need to start!”

On Day 2, Dorner participated in the Innovations and New Materials panel, where industry experts tackled key challenges and misconceptions surrounding recycled materials. Dorner joined Erik van der Weerd, CEO of SaXcell, and Holly Berger, Marketing Director at Haelixa Ltd., to debunk myths about recycled content and explore how leading brands are successfully integrating recycled materials into their collections.

Circular Textile Days brought together industry leaders, brands, and innovators dedicated to accelerating the transition to a circular textile economy. RE&UP’s participation marks another significant milestone in its mission to push the boundaries of recycling technologies and contribute to a more sustainable future for fashion.
