The most innovative minds in fashion sustainability come together.

On March 12, 2025, RE&UP was among the industry leaders who took part in the Drapers Conscious Fashion Summit & Awards with the shared goal of shaping the future of sustainable fashion.

Our General Manager, Andreas Dorner, took part in the panel “Designing for Circularity: Materials of the Future” alongside Bernice Pan (Deploy), Emilie Mauffet (Decathlon), Natalie Grant (Baukjen), and Patrick Strumpf (Haelixa), moderated by Jill Geoghegan (Drapers). The panel was a vibrant discussion on how innovative materials are transforming the design and production of clothing. By using recycled fibers, biodegradable textiles, and cutting-edge recycling technologies, the fashion industry is finding new ways to close the loop, making sure materials can be reused, repurposed, and reintegrated into the production cycle.

As more brands embrace circularity, we’re seeing real progress in reducing waste, lowering carbon footprints, and improving the durability and quality of products. With advancements in technology, recycled materials are becoming more accessible and cost-effective, driving a shift toward a fashion ecosystem that balances sustainability with high performance, durability, and style.

We were also honored to sponsor the “Best Circularity Initiative” award, celebrating companies making bold strides in closing the loop on textile waste. This year’s award went to Reformation, recognizing their outstanding commitment to circular fashion.

At RE&UP, we believe collaboration is essential. Building a circular future requires the industry to work together and this event is a key moment for the sector to share knowledge, celebrate progress, and push for systemic change.

The summit served as a powerful reminder of the incredible progress being made, and how innovation in material recycling is helping to shape a brighter, more circular future for fashion.
