RE&UP takes center stage of Ecomondo’s dedicated Textile District.

This year, Ecomondo (4–7 November), Europe’s premier event for the green and circular economy, once again showcases the Textile District, highlighting the textile sector’s pivotal role in sustainability. In this inaugural edition, RE&UP takes center stage, participating in two key panels that explore both the business and technological dimensions of circular fashion.

Circular fashion at scale: supply chains & storytelling

How do you turn circular fashion from aspiration into reality? This panel, moderated by Menabò Group, brings together leaders from RE&UP, Teddy, Marchi&Fildi, C&S, and La Sapienza University to explore exactly that. From integrating next-generation fibers into collections to creating collaborative business models that make circular materials cost-competitive and scalable, the discussion reveals how supply chains can evolve, and, crucially, how these efforts can be communicated in a way that resonates with both industry and consumers.

Circular textiles: technological frontiers for recycling, recovery, and valorization

Non-reusable textile waste is one of the sector’s toughest challenges, and one of the biggest opportunities for innovation. Moderated by Andrea Falchini, Director at Next Technology Tecnotessile, this session gathers innovators from RE&UP, CAUTO, GR3N, ReCircled, and Dell’Orco & Villani to examine cutting-edge recycling techniques, energy recovery strategies, and downcycling approaches. Attendees gain insight into how advanced technologies can transform waste into value while driving the circular economy forward, making circular textiles not just aspirational, but actionable.

Looking ahead

Ecomondo 2025 marks the next step in RE&UP’s journey to advance circular fashion. By sharing insights, exploring innovative solutions, and collaborating with industry leaders, the company continues to demonstrate how technology and strategic thinking can transform textile waste into opportunity, helping the entire sector move closer to a truly circular future.
