A chance to connect and galvanise the industry through a shared critical goal.

On 13th March, RE&UP shared the prestigious stage of Drapers Sustainable Fashion Conference & Awards alongside ISKO, global denim innovator, to showcase its mission which sets out to revolutionize textile-to-textile recycling thanks to our ability to process colored polycotton blends, broadening the scope of accessible waste streams.

At the stand visitors learned how RE&UP’s recycled fibers are employed in ISKO’s fabrics, actively reusing textile waste to reduce the reliance on virgin materials. Marco Lucietti, Head of Global Marketing & Communications, took part in the “Making sustainable materials commercially viable” panel with Rhiannon Northeast, Materials Innovation Engineer at Pentland Brands, to talk about how fashion can break away from the textile status quo by focusing its efforts on recycling solutions such as RE&UP, which plans to recycle up to 1 million tons of fabric by 2030.
